The high notes sound like the snowflakes themselves- or the stars twinkling on a cold winter's night- or shattering ice crystals or fallen glass. A beautiful and emotional piece. Sometimes, music just makes you feel a certain way that's hard to describe. It takes you to an emotional, beautiful place that you didn't know resided within you. If you let yourself fall into it, you can almost hear it playing your own story. Your thoughts go somewhere unknown, your mind roams free. In that moment, it's only you and the beautiful simplicity of the notes around you. And I'm perfectly okay with that.
