Report: Oasis Are Reuniting, Comeback Shows Scheduled for 2017!


According to a new report from Music Scene, Oasis are set to make a comeback and perform a string of live tour dates next summer.

Prior to that, Liam Gallagher posted a brief message on Twitter that excited quite a lot of fans, saying: "Lots of exciting things happening time to get back in ring give us a call ROVER LG x."

As for that reunion report, the source noted that according to a "non-official scoop （linking back to a very close source of the band）" that the group is "lining up x5 nights at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester next Summer （2017）. That's approx 300,000 concert tickets."

Back in March, Noel Gallagher said that Oasis reunion will very likely happen when he needs the money.

"And there's nothing wrong with that - I fucking love money," he explained. "But I don't need the money. When I do need the money - eventually I will need the money, trust me - we will fucking reform."

Anyhow, Noel was now asked by The Daily Star on exactly how much money would it need for the boys to get back on track, to which he replied:

"For 20 million quid, one gig - that is good money, isn't it? But I have never had that offer from anyone yet."

He added: "Liam is a very angry man still. So he is not cool. I don't ever sit down and when people ask about Oasis go, 'No, that is it.' There might come a day one day where it might seem like a good idea, but I have so much I want to do."
