Same. Tough for me to understand his character. I don't believe killing his own clan for the village was the right move, or something that he needed to do

took long enough to find this comment was about to make my own, Itachi should have staged a revolt within his clan and tried to make them not attack the leaf, at least then him and his family and any others that didnt want to go to war with leaf would have been spared cause they were innocent, Itachi definitely had the power to overcome them obviously so I dont get how so many people view his choice as hero worthy
